Bahamas

Our visit to the Bahamas was only a short extension to a several days stay in Miami. at the airport we booked a taxi that drove us around  New Providence island.
We visited Nassau, had a few hours in the beach and a snack in Sheraton hotel, in Paradise island, entered  casino, saw the presidential palace, a Christian church, some nice colonial buildings, and ate a lobster in Cable beach before returning to Miami, but not before a funny scene in the airport:
Preparing the trip, I read that everybody should pay B$13 (yes, 13, now 15, Bahamian dollars, in cash and in local currency). Upon arrival, as soon as I got local currency I reserved the exact amount to avoid surprises.
