Brazil

The first trip to Brazil is problematic – a fog in Paris made us loose the connection, arriving to Rio de Janeiro one day later than expected (and without luggage). With a flight booked to Foz do Iguaçu the next day, the visit to the city was somewhat compromised, but me managed to see (and buy) the essential before meeting the luggage when returning to Rio. From there, a car with driver took us in a fabulous tour, to Angra dos Reis, Parati,, Congonhas, Ouro Preto,  Mariana, Tiradentes, Petropolis and Buzios.

The second trip had Recife as destination. The theme was “beach in winter” and we had beach in great places – Recife, Porto Galinhas, Maragogi and Itamaracá, while visiting Igarassu, Olinda Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Gaibu, Suape, and Calhetas in the way.
