For many years I didn’t like Porto. Recently, wise investments in its image, and the proximity of the marvelous Douro valley, promoted the city to a strong challenger of Lisbon as touristy leader.
The city is beautiful, but in the district several places like Amarante, Fejgueiras, Vila do Conde, Gondomar or Miramar, justify the extension of the visit beyond the binomial Porto – Gaia.
